Love, Illustrated | semi◦diffusion #41
My New Yorker-inspired wedding illustration for a Belgian friend
Two windows set apart by bricks and air,
One maiden fair in silk, adorned in white;
Across, a gent in black, refined with care,
His bowtie straightened in the morning light.
Upon each sill, a feline watcher wise,
Two silent guardians, sleek and soft of fur;
They blink, observing love through patient eyes,
As vows draw near, the heartbeats gently stir.
Below, her emerald cycle stands in grace,
With Pringles, Cola Zero, waiting near;
The skis and clubs speak passions they embrace,
Small tokens of adventures held so dear.
And bags await, their doorway propped ajar,
Prepared to journey, love their guiding star.
